City streets are to be maintained by city governments. Using tax dollars. Instead the city gives tax dollars away to a PRIVATE airport and PRIVATE college then demands the citizens pay for street repairs themselves and even fines residents who challenge them on it
There is no sane reason that residents have to get involved to this level, canvasing their neighbors and sitting through endless council meetings, to get their street up to a sound and operational level.
The cacophony of "this is the way we've always done it" fails on its lack of merit. Local government has a very short list of things that it is required to provide a city. Sound roads is high on the list.
Perhaps we should ask residents to pay for each call and response of the police? Of course, only after submitting a petition signed by 50% of their neighbors.
Have anyone drove on manning street it worse the barry

If they are not charged the same as I have to pay and they dont get charged same intrest...then that's not fair for us already paying...
